Zoom Out

A scan of Pennsylvania on the Newseum's front page map toy today seems to indicate that Obama's speech yesterday at least made an impression on the yet-to-voters.

Notable, though, which hometown papers - Erie, Johnstown, Harrisburg - lead instead with the 5 year anniversary of the Iraq war. The Reading Eagle "Five Years Ago Today, Shock and Awe" leader:
"the conflict, one of the longest in U.S. history, has drifted off the radar screen for many Americans. Meanwhile, a Reading mother waits anxiously for her son to return from a second tour of duty."

Google ads is serving a John McCain internet spot in the sidebar.
